The death of François Landry of Memramcook East occurred at Moncton Hospital Thursday (15 mars) after a short illness. He was 68.

Born at Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Thomas and Marie (Dupuis) Landry. He was a retired CNR employee.

Surviving are, his wife, the former Angèle LeBlanc; three sons. Francis, Alyre and Médard, all of Memramcook East; four daughters, Mrs. Alyre LeBlanc (Bernice) of College Bridge, Mrs. Sanford Robichaud (Roberte) of St. Anselme, Mrs. Daniel O'Carroll (Anne Marie) of Gatineau, Que., and Aline Landry of Memramcook East; 23 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvain LeBlanc (Emma) of Mount Vernon, N.Y., and Mrs. Denis Cormier (Ella) of Moncton.

The body is resting at Dupuis' funeral home in Memramcook with service to be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Meniramcook East. Entombment will be in the St Joseph parish cemetery vault for burial in the spring.
